


History and Position to Date
•Marshalls Motors was founded in 1930 by Alfred J Marshall.
•The company began trading as a used car dealership in Castlereagh Street, Sydney.
•By 1938 Marshalls Motors had developed into the largest used car dealer in Sydney, and in that year opened the first ever designed and built open car yard, on the corner of Church & Early Streets Parramatta. By this stage branches were also operating in St Leonards, Bankstown, Mascot & Broadway.
•Due to company growth, in 1947, Marshalls Parramatta moved from Early Street to the corner of Church & Meehan Streets to house a new and used truck division.
•In 1958 the company obtained the franchise to sell Mercedes-Benz and today, the only remaining branch is Marshalls Motors, Parramatta.
• In July 2009 a new Autohaus facility was completed at 306 Church Street, Granville (Cnr Church & Meehan Streets) – current site.
•Today, Marshalls Motors trades as a Mercedes-Benz franchise incorporating New and Pre-Owned passenger car sales, service, parts, finance & insurance.
•The current dealership showroom can accommodate 60 New and Pre-Owned passenger vehicles.
